Ambush on Mos Espa
Originally titled, The Ambush on Tatooine, this MOS Espa LEGO Star Wars MOC is based on the original trailer for the Disney show, The Book of Boba Fett. The scene is when Boba Fett and Fennec Shand are ambushed in the streets of MOS Espa by assassins.
If you follow me on YouTube, you know that I originally planned the build process to be a 3-4 episode channel series. However, I didn’t account for how busy I would be over the holiday break and had to crank this out in about 1.5 days to upload the finale on the same day The Book of Boba Fett released.
I didn’t have a whole lot to go off of when making this MOC, but in taking stills from the trailer, I recreated several of the buildings to create a reasonably accurate depiction of what took place. The assassin minifigures use Jawa torsos, plane LEGO reddish-brown legs, and custom head-wraps from FireStar Toys.

This video is where I first realized how cool it was to build a small to medium-sized MOC in one video. It turned out alright, with only one night to build, followed by editing the entire video the next day. I will say that tan LEGO on a tan desk was a white-balance nightmare for me.
