Darth Vader’s March

Ever since I started creating with LEGO, I wanted to make a custom LEGO Star Wars MOC featuring Darth Vader walking the corridors of the Death Star. Seeing Vader march through the halls of the Death Star with power, authority, and strength is something that’s stuck with me since my youth. So this custom Lego creation was a nostalgic build for me and one of my favorites.

I had several goals going into this LEGO MOC for utilizing new Lego building techniques. One of those was to use SNOT, or Studs Not On Top for the floors of the Death Star. Another was to get more detailed and creative when it came to creating the walls of the Death Star. I was absolutely stoked to create the iconic light paneled walls of the Death Star. I shared the “how to” of these building techniques in the YouTube video below.

Ok, and so… I should address Boba Fett as I’m called out repeatedly for using the new Boba Fett Lego Minifigure instead of the older version. Simple explanation: I didn’t own the older version when building this MOC, and Boba was a last-second placement into the build.

If you’re interested in seeing the full LEGO building process, the techniques used, and a walkthrough of the build, make sure to watch the video on YouTube.

Darth Vader's March? Yep, that was the best name I could come up with at the time, lol. The title doesn't do this video or MOC justice. It was one of my favorite videos to make as I feel I started to develop my editing style with this video.
