Skirmish On Mandalore

The Mandalorians were a clan-based cultural group bound by a common creed, language, and code. As a “people,” they’re composed of members from multiple species and are one of my favorite groups within the Star Wars Universe. That’s a big reason for building this LEGO Star Wars MOC, Skirmish on Mandalore, featuring several LEGO Mandalorian Minifigures such as Bo Katan.

I honestly don’t know much about Bo Katan’s backstory. Still, I love reading and hearing stories about Mandalorians, such as The Mandalorian Wars and the more recent show, The Mandalorian.

The build itself is relatively straightforward. The most challenging part of the build was creating the bluish-hued windows without having lights or the most desired pieces. Oddly enough, I didn’t have any white bricks at the time of building this, so to illuminate the blue windows, I layered white plates behind translucent blue panels. The rest of the build features some nice angles, SNOT (Studs Not On Top techniques), and a cool tree design that’s accurate for Sundari, the capital city of Mandalore.
