212th Attack Battalion Clone Base

The 212th Attack Battalion are some of my favorite LEGO Star Wars Minifigures. Having purchased a custom Cody Minifigure from FireStar Toys, I just had to build a custom LEGO Clone Wars base featuring these fantastic figures.

The 212th was a clone trooper battalion of the Republic during the Clone Wars, led by Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi. In this LEGO Star Wars MOC, I feature General Kenobi and Commander Cody discussing battle plans using a custom holotable that I built using translucent blue bricks and a slick blue dish piece. We also see several 212th Clone Troopers in the base, one standing guard, another selecting his blaster for battle, and an airborne trooper entering the room.

I was happy to try different techniques in the build, such as the cylinder pieces integrated into the wall and the fan above the door. The method Iā€™m most proud of is the angled walls and door. That provided an excellent perspective on the build and was fun to experiment with. The challenge in bringing the angles together in the build came on the roof. I had to use some wedge plates and overlaying tiles to provide a smooth look.

All-in-all, this was a cool custom Lego creation to make, and I hope you enjoy the project. Check out the YouTube video below to see the entire build process. Let me know what you think in the comments.

I Wow! could I have been any more excited in this video? Of course, I'm kidding; I sound like someone who just lost their best friend. Lack of energy aside, I like the build sequences combined with a lot of "how-to" in the video.
